A fantastic hinged buckle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, the front of this bangle features a large, three-dimensional buckle motif. The strap of the buckle is adorned with intricate foliage-motif engravings. The side of the bangle features a discreet push clasp, which allows the bangle to open and close. The remainder of the bangle is smooth and simple. A fabulous piece, this bangle would look lovely worn alone or stacked with other sterling silver bracelets!
Measurements: The inside of the bangle (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/4" wide and 1 3/4" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of this bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sterling silver setting. The push clasp is secure and in working order.
