A lovely diamond engagement ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold, this ring features a solitaire old mine cushion cut diamond. The diamond is held within an eight-prong setting, and has an estimated weight of 0.85ct and is L/M color and clarity of VS2. The diamond displays a light fancy hue, which wonderfully complements the yellow gold setting. The shoulders of the ring feature a wonderful ribbed-design. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped "18K". A dainty and elegant ring, this piece would make a wonderful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 5.5 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the diamond is secure and intact.
