A beautiful pair of hanging earrings from the Victorian (ca1877) era! Each of these exquisite earrings is made of 15kt rosy yellow gold (indicating English origin) and is comprised of a decorative gold hoop that hangs from an open triangular surmount. The front surface of the surmount is decorated with a swirled hand-etched design, and the hoops are adorned with a raised stud and leaf accents. Dangling from the triangle are three small urn-shaped spears, which give the piece lovely movement when worn. Very lightweight and comfortable to wear, these gorgeous earrings hang from clasped gold earring wires detailed with small 3-leaf clover toppers.
