A stunning rubellite ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this ring features a 3.48ct cushion cut rubellite. The rubellite is held within ornate prong-setting, and displays an incredible pinkish-red hue. The stone does feature a subtle inclusion, which is frequently found amongst rubellite. The gallery and shoulders of the ring feature an intricate floral and arch-motif cutout design. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped "14K" and with a floral hallmark. A fabulous ring, this piece would make a great addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.5, but could be easily resized. The band has a width of 2.2mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting. The rubellite is intact and securely set.
