A fantastic and rare sapphire ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this ring features a solitaire .65ct oval cut Yogo sapphire. Yogo sapphires, which are uniquely found in Yogo Gulch, Montana are known for their vivid natural cornflower blue hue. The sapphire is held within a smooth and simple bezel setting, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The extraordinary sapphire is accompanied by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Report which provides more information on the stone and its origin. Measurements: The ring is a size 5.5 but it could easily be re-sized. The band has a width of 1.4mm. The sapphire centerpiece measures 1/4" tall and just under 1/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The sapphire is secure and intact.
