A gorgeous butterfly wing bracelet from the Art Nouveau (ca1900s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this bracelet is comprised of 6 oval-shaped links, and 1 circular-shaped link. Each link features a real butterfly wing held within a bezel-setting and held safely behind a glass frame. The butterfly wings are a true testament to the beauty of nature, display blue and purple iridescent hues. The links are connected to other another by 2 rows of bone-style chain, and the piece secures with a push clasp. The push clasp is accompanied by a safety chain for added security. The backside of each link I stamped with a maker's mark which reads: "SWD & CO". A once-in-a-lifetime find, this bracelet would make a unique addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The bracelet has a total length of approximately 7 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or butterfly wings, which are well-preserved behind their glass frames. The push clasp and safety chain are both secure and in working order.
