MARINA B Estate 18k Diamond Four Band Heart Ring .65ctw
Born in Rome in 1930 to the son of the creator of Bulgari, Greek/German/Italian Marina Bulgari was a master jewelry designer. In 1973, Marina succeeded her father and became the head of the Bulgari family business. However, four years later in 1977, Marina embarked on her individual creative journey and established "MARINA B", subsequently opening her first store in Geneva. Between 1978 and 1986, Marina created some of her most legendary collections, before ultimately relocating to New York City where she opened her first American storefront on Madison Avenue. In 1993, Marina retired to Monaco, where she continued to design jewelry. In 2017, Marina was replaced as the creative director by Italian-born French jewelry designer, Guy Bedarida. Marina passed away in February of 2024 at the age of 93, and is revered for her elegant and glamorous collections.
A fabulous Marina B diamond four band heart ring! Crafted in 18k yellow gold, the piece features a simple and smooth four band design. The front of the ring features a heart emblem, which features five full cut diamonds totaling 0.65ctw. The heart centerpiece moves freely on the four stacked bands. However, the backing of the centerpiece can be removed with a smalls crew to separate the heart from the bands. The ring has several hallmarks found along the back of the heart including "Marina B", "G599", "750", a star with "2332AL", MB", and "Made in Italy". Its a fabulous ring that would make a perfect addition to any fashion forward collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5, but could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to either the bands, heart centerpiece, or diamonds.
