A lovely turquoise and marcasite necklace from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, the necklace is comprised of a dainty chain, which opens and closes with a simple spring ring clasp. The center of the necklace features an oval-shaped pendant which is decorated with a central bezel-set turquoise cabochon. The turquoise is surrounded by a halo of bead-set marcasites. The turquoise cabochon displays a lovely greenish-blue hue, and feature wonderful brown and gold inclusions. All of the marcasites are wonderfully faceted and complement the sterling silver details. A fabulous piece, this necklace would be perfect for any special event or occasion!
Measurements: The necklace measures 13" and the turquoise pendant measures 5/8" long and 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting, turquoise, or marcasites. The spring ring clasp is secure and intact.
