A beautiful sapphire and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in sleek platinum, this ring features a 1.41ct cushion cut Ceylon sapphire, which is held within a four-prong setting. The sapphire displays a gorgeous cornflower blue hue, which wonderfully complements the platinum setting. The shoulders of the ring each feature 4 bead-set old single cut diamonds, which have an approximate total carat weight of .16ctw. The diamonds display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The gallery of the ring features a lovely swirling-motif cutout design, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the shank is stamped: "IRID PLATINUM". A gorgeous piece, this ring would make a fantastic addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.4mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the stones are secure and intact.
