A stunning sapphire and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This gorgeous piece is crafted in platinum and features a gorgeous faceted sapphire resting at the center of a sparkling diamond border. The bezel set sapphire weighs approximately 0.70ct, exhibiting a rich blue color as the facets catch the light beautifully with every turn. A sparkling border of old Mine Cut diamonds encircles the center stone, pairing perfectly against the richly colored sapphire. Three rows of accent diamonds graduate along each shoulder, adding more light catching effects to the stunning design, and collectively all of the diamonds weigh 0.50ctw. Fine milgrained work decorates the entire centerpiece, and a delicate cutout design travels along the band which graduates slightly towards the back.
