This diamond starburst pendant from the Victorian era (ca1880) is a real beauty! The setting is made of 18kt gold and topped in sterling silver. The celestial design forms a gorgeous 10-point starburst, which is adorned with a diamond-encrusted surface! At the center is a Cushion Mine Cut diamond, weighing approximately .60ct with J color and SI1 clarity. Lining the rays of the star are 45 old Rose Cut diamonds, weighing about 1.50ctw combined. The result is a beautiful sparkling surface that contrasts dramatically within the antiqued setting. Delicate bead work at the tips of each ray completes the look perfectly.
