Art Nouveau French 18k/Platinum Emerald & Diamond Navette Ring
A once-in-a-lifetime find from the Art Nouveau (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 18k and platinum, this ring features a navette-style centerpiece. The center of the elongated design features a prong-set 2.50ct cushion cut emerald Columbian in origin. The emerald displays an incredible, vivid green hue. The emerald is at least F1 in treatment or better making it the perfect green color for an emerald! It’s complemented on the top and bottom by prong-set, old European cut diamonds, which have a combined carat weight of 2ctw+. The diamonds display H/I color and SI1-SI2 clarity. The shoulders of the ring feature a lovely curving-design, and are further encrusted with small, bead-set single cut diamonds, which have an approximate total carat weight of .10ctw. The remainder of the band features a subtle ribbed accent, and the exterior of the band features the French eagle-motif hallmark. A magnificent example of Art Nouveau-era beauty, this ring would make a fantastic addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is currently a size 6, but could be resized. The band has a width of 1.6mm. The centerpiece has a height of 1" and a width of 5/8".
