A stunning jade ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 14k rose gold, this ring features a prong-set jade plaque. The jade is hand-carved, and depicts what appears to be an olive-branch. The jade is simply magnificent in color, displaying a vibrant green hue. The jade is surrounded by a lovely frame, which is adorned with texturizing engravings. Each shoulder of the ring features a foliage-motif and twisting-rope motif. The gallery of the ring features a scrolling-motif cutout-design, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the shank is marked with an "E", a maker's mark which reads: "MG", a "14K" purity mark, and the number "85".
