A beautiful sapphire and diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in sleek platinum, this ring features a central 1.62ct oval cut sapphire, which is wonderfully faceted and displays a a vivid, luscious blue hue. The sapphire is held within a four-prong setting. Each shoulder of the ring features a single channel-set baguette cut diamond, and a small bead-set single cut diamond. Overall, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .12ctw and display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The shoulders also feature delicate milgrain-detailing. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped "10% IRID 90% PLAT". Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.2mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the stones are secure and intact.
