An absolutely exquisite navette ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, this navette-style ring is encrusted with sparkling diamonds. The piece features a central old mine cut diamond, which is held with a bead-setting and surrounded by a box frame. The central diamond is surrounded on both the left and right by two square-shaped box frames, which each feature a bead-set single cut diamond. The top and bottom of the central diamond are bordered by arch-shaped panels, which feature two additional bead-set single cut diamonds. Overall, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .60ctw. The centerpiece features a unique step-design border, and the entirety of the piece is adorned with intricate milgrain detailing. The shoulders and band of the piece feature foliage and floral-motif engravings. The inside of the band is stamped "900 PLAT 100 IRID". A fantastic ring, this piece would make a lovely and unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a size 5.75, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.65mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are secure and intact.
