A dainty sapphire ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 14k gold, this ring features a solitaire French cut sapphire. The sapphire, which has an approximate total carat weight of .65ct, is held within a milgrained bezel-setting and displays a deep, vibrant blue hue. The shoulders and gallery of the ring feature intricate filigree-detailing, which incorporates swirling-motifs. The shoulders of the mounting also feature a banded-design, and the remainder of the band is ribbed. The inside of the shank features a "14K" purity mark. A wonderful example of Art Deco-era craftsmanship, this ring would make a splendid addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 5.25, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.43mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mounting. The sapphire is securely set and intact.
