Victorian 14kt/Sterling Carved Art Glass & Diamond Winged Cherub Pin
An exquisite cherub pin from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stunning piece is made of sterling-topped 14kt yellow gold and has a beautiful and artistic design. The piece features a sweet cherub's face at the center, resting between a set of feathered angel wings. The face is carved from art glass and is bezel set above a foil-backed setting. The carved angelic details are wonderful, depicting fine facial features and curled hair in 3-dimensional detail. The shimmery foil backing shows through the translucent art glass, giving a beautiful iridescent appearance to the piece, with soft flashes of pink and violet colors.
