A truly exceptional French pin and necklace set from the Georgian (ca1780) era! Made of silver and old Rose Cut diamonds, this well-preserved piece is absolutely gorgeous. When worn as a necklace, it fastens together at a push clasp in the back, and hooks onto either side of the large centerpiece in the middle. The centerpiece itself is outstanding, with twisted leaves and larger flowers in the middle, and elegant dangling elements below, all topped in sparkling diamonds. The back of the center link attaches to a gold bar pin, allowing it to be detached from the necklace and worn on its own as a pin. The clasp is stamped with the French eagle head hallmark.
