Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 1.23ct

A spectacular diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Resting in the center of this gorgeous platinum setting is a sparkling old European Cut diamond, which has a total weight of 1.23ct with I color and VS2 clarity. The diamond is prong set within a box setting and sits prominently above a decorative filigree mounting. Accenting the center stone are 12 additional old European cut diamonds, which carry along the shoulders and sides of the mounting. These smaller stones have H-J range color, VS2-SI1 range clarity, and a total carat weight of 0.25ctw. Completing the elegant design are delicate airline cutouts, fine milgrained detail, hand etched accents, and a flowing etched design. The lovely and feminine design of the ring is simply magnificent! The shank is stamped with the letter "A" and a small star. The ring was appraised by an accredited and independent GIA-certified Gemologist in April 2015 and has a stated retail replacement value of $13,600.00. It is absolutely breathtaking when worn and would make a very special engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring is a finger size 4.75 but could easily be re-sized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are intact.
