A lovely enameled locket necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This stylish piece is made of sterling silver, and consists of a round locket that hangs from a complimentary lorgnette chain. Both sides of the locket have a black enameled surface, with a rich, glossy finish. When opened, the interior reveals two spaces to store special photographs inside. The locket hangs from its original chain, which consists of complimentary black enameled links that alternate with sections of silver chain. The chain meets at a lorgnette style extension in the center, with a spring ring clasp at the end, making it simple to detach the locket when desired.
